- What are Cookies?

- Who is required to provide the information and to request the consent for the use of cookies?

For third-party cookies installed through the site, the obligations of information and consent weigh on third parties parties, but the site owner, as technical intermediary between these and users, is required to enter in the "extended" information, the updated links to the information and forms consent of the third parties themselves.
- Should the use of cookies be notified to the Guarantor?
Profiling cookies, which usually remain over time, are subject to the notification obligation, while i cookies that have different purposes and that fall into the category of technical cookies, must not be notified to the Guarantor.
- When the measures prescribed by the Guarantor come into force with the provision of 8 May 2014?
The Guarantor has foreseen a transitional period of one year to start from the publication of the provision in Official Gazette to allow interested parties to put themselves in rule. This period will end on June 2nd 2015.
